Samsung Galaxy S4 Update

Some owners of the Samsung Galaxy S4 has stated getting an update, which is rolling out across the UK. The update will allow users to install apps to their SD cards.

The update also comes with some camera firmware updates, which gives the Galaxy S4 the ability to record HDR video.

The update to allow apps to be installed to your SD cards is a big welcome, even though technically, the S4 comes in a 16GB size only 9GB is available to the users.

There are apps thought that needs to be installed into the root of the phone, in other words, cannot be installed onto the SD card, but still this update is a big welcome to users.

Do bear in mind, there has been no official announcement at the time of this video/post, about this update, but there are loads of reports going around about the update and I am sure it’s only a matter of time before it becomes official.

PlayStation 4 pricing & more

Sony has announce the price of the PlayStation 4 at E3 which will go on sale later this year and it’ll set you back: £349 in the UK. That’s £100 cheaper that the Xbox one.

One of the reason why they are £100 cheaper than the Xbox one is, they will not be bundling PlayStation Eye camera in with the console and will be sold separately at a price of £44. Remember unlike the Xbox one, where then Kinect sensor an essential part of its new console, the PlayStation Eye is not and the PlayStation 4 can be played and used without the PlayStation Eye.

So what else about the PlayStation 4 that we now know?

Well we now know how the used games & online check-in works, first of all, users will be allowed to trade in there used games and even be allowed to lend them out to friends, which is also thanks to the no need to check in online. Yeah that’s right, Sony has also said, you will not need to have the internet in order to play there latest’s generation console.

So I personally think Sony has listened to their users and have made the right move when it come to their decision about the used games and online checks.

Unfortunately we still don’t have an exact release date as of yet.

Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom

Samsung has announced the Galaxy S4 Zoom.

The Galaxy S4 Zoom looks just looks like another S4 handset when looking at the screen, yet you turn the phone over and it looks like a camera. That’s because you’re getting the best of both worlds with the Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom.

The camera is a 16MP with 10x optical zoom, which is nice to see instead of crappy digital zoom, which will degrade your image the more you zoom in.

On the phone size, it features a 4.3-inch qHD display, a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1.9MP front facing camera, 8GB of internal storage but only 5GB can actually be used, however you can expand that with a microSD and its running on Android 4.2 AKA Jelly Bean. Some of the connectivity options including 4G, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS and NFC

Samsung has confirmed a UK summer release, although no exact date or price had been announced as of yet.

Yahoo releasing inactive IDs

Yahoo has announced IDs that have been inactive for more than a year will be released back to the public. Now you might be able to get your ID that you really wanted.

The problem with hot new services like when yahoo come around is, people tend to sign up several accounts just so they can get popular IDs and many of them will remain inactive for years.

So I really do like what yahoo is doing here.
